Little Red Schoolhouse
Since 1978, the Little Red Schoolhouse has marked the beginning of many students’ time “on the hill” at Magnolia Heights, serving as home to 3k, 4k, 5k, and preschool extended care. Progress on our campus has given us the opportunity to give the Little Red Schoolhouse a new home and a new purpose. Construction of a new road around the MHS campus necessitated the moving of the Little Red Schoolhouse to the front of the elementary school. More than forty years of housing little children had taken its toll on the building, so a full restoration was in order. Upon completion, it now houses our after-school extended care program
A brick walkway leading to the door of the Little Red Schoolhouse is made of commemorative bricks, engraved with the names of MHS supporters. For a tax-deductible donation of $150, you may honor your own history at MHS and leave your mark on the campus with an engraved brick, or you may honor a special friend, graduate, teacher, or anyone you choose. Your gift will be a permanent reminder of your support of the proud heritage and the bright future at Magnolia Heights.
