Honor's World History (Period 6th Period)
Course Description
Tenth Grade Honor's World History is a survey of World Events and development from the Middle Ages up until the post-World War II Era.
Taught through the perspective of the Western Civilization framework, much of the course of the development of England, France, Germany, Spain and other Western nations will be emphasized, as these nations directly led to the civilizations planted on the American Continent.
Class time will consist of Teacher led instruction, student research and presentation, and plenty of classroom discussion. Part of the process of scholarly development is the development of critical thinking skills, and not just rote memorization.
