Chiefs Baseball Making a Statement

With their season now underway, the returning 4A State Champions have been putting in extra time during the off season not only physically preparing to defend their title, but also making drastic improvements to the baseball fields and facilities. Through private donations and special fundraising earmarked for capital improvements to the baseball complex, fans and players will enjoy multiple upgrades to the baseball field. The outfield fence has received repairs and improvements including a custom student section in right field and a state championship billboard showing the 10 state championships held by former Chiefs. Boosters will enjoy new stadium seats and a great view of the new 10 foot Halo surrounding home plate. Players can take advantage of the new batting cages and bullpen beside right field as well as renovated dugouts for both home and visiting teams. With a full schedule ahead, the Chiefs will spend the majority of their season on the road with only seven home games scheduled. They will host Marion tonight with JV beginning at 4:00 and Varsity to follow. Good luck to our Chiefs! Defend the Hill and the Title!
