Author's Visit
On Janurary 17th the students at MHS 3k-6th had the opportunity to meet and hear Ozark Publishing's author David M. Sargent, Jr. David's and his four-legged friends Emma, Daphne, Tatum and Spike. He shared his experiences of being a responsible dog lover and how he became an author. The four legged visitors thrilled the audience with tricks and keeping teachers laps warm during his entertaining performance. His informative talks teach the children of the importantance of being able to read and how to use that ability to receive the highest education possible. Afterwards the children had the opportunity to have books signed and pet Spike.
