Committee Preference Sheet

CLEAN OUT YOUR CLOSET AND HELP MHS!

Are your children's uniforms taking over their closets? Do you want to get rid of them but hate to throw them away and don't have the time (or energy) to consign them? Donate them to the Parents' Club! We will collect gently-worn uniforms, consign them, and use the money to fund projects in classrooms throughout the year. There will be collection boxes in the elementary and high school offices at MHS. So clean out your closet and help MHS be the best it can be!

BOX TOPS PRODUCTS

We are once again collecting Box Tops! Above is a link of participating products where box tops can be clipped.

Parents Club

Dear MHS Parents:

We need your help! Each year the Parents' Club hosts several fundraisers, generating thousands of dollars used to purchase items for the school that are not available from tuition funds alone. Money raised by the Parents' Club has been used to buy computers, iPads, software, a security system, classroom materials, and even a school bus. The past fundraisers have included Harvest Fun Festival, Ag Night, and Catfish on the Hill.

This year, we will be participating in a new 'gift wrap' fund raiser through a company called Charleston Wraps. This fund raising packet should come home with your child within the first two weeks of school. Harvest Festival will be held Monday, October 24, 2011. The dates for our spring fundraiser, Catfish on the Hill, have not been set yet, but will be posted on the Web site as soon as we know.

The Parents' Club needs your help to ensure that our fundraisers remain fun for those participating, and most of all, profitable. We need fresh ideas in organizing the fundraisers, and we also need your help to get the work done. The more people we have helping, the better our events will be. The Committee Preference Sheet contains a list of events and a description of the work involved. Please fill out this form and return to your child's teacher by August 31, 2011. A committee chairman will contact you prior to that event.

Thank you so much for your help. We appreciate and welcome any input, suggestions, or ideas you may have, so feel free to call or email us anytime.

Sincerely,
