Annual Fund Giving Program
Annual giving can turn an excellent education into an outstanding one. No matter the amount, your participation in giving matters a great deal to MHS students. Every student at MHS benefits from the Annual Fund regardless of age or grade level. Each dollar raised is critical in providing the experience we desire for our children. Monies that are given each year by donors to the school directly benefit every student on a daily basis.
Any gift that is made to the Annual Giving Program affects many areas. Ten percent goes toward foundation expenses, forty five percent will be placed permanently in the school’s endowment fund and forty five percent will go to the selected programs. You may choose to direct your gifts to several areas.
-
Classroom Enhancements – Teachers submit requests for items that they would like for their classrooms. These requests are filled as funds become available. Students from three year old kindergarten to twelfth grade reap the benefits.
-
Technology – Gifts made to this area help provide teachers with up-to-date equipment to use in their classrooms. It can also help “behind the scenes” with the wires and connections and power strips that keep it all running.
-
Library – Gifts made to the Library are used to purchase books and programs for the library.
-
Endowment – All memorial gifts that are not designated for other areas go directly to build the Endowment.
-
Unrestricted - You may choose to make an unrestricted gift to the Annual Giving Program to be used in the area where it is needed most.
Does my gift make a difference?
No matter the gift size, participation in the Annual Giving Program is the most important thing. Each gift makes a difference in the education of MHS students and has an impact on their lives.
